Scott Sedita is an award-winning, highly in-demand Acting Coach and Motivational Speaker. He is the owner of Scott Sedita Acting Studios in Los Angeles where he works with actors from all over the world. Scott is the author of the internationally bestselling book, The Eight Characters of Comedy: A Guide to Sitcom Acting & Writing, which has been translated into many different languages. Scott has travelled the world teaching his comedic technique "The Sedita Method." Scott is also the first acting coach to develop an acting-based app, called "Actor Audition App." Scott has starred in the E! reality series Fight For Fame, VH1's New York Goes to Hollywood, and MTV's Adventures In Hollyhood. He was also seen on Showtime's La La Land, as well as MTV's My Perfect Life, USA Network's Character Fantasy, Fox Sports Network's Helmets Off, and Bravo's Faking It. A graduate of Boston University, Scott has more than forty years of experience in the entertainment industry. He began his career in New York as a talent agent, where he helped to launch the careers of many of today's top stars, including Courteney Cox, Matt LeBlanc, Christopher Meloni, Teri Polo, Dylan Walsh, Jerry O'Connell, and Vincent D'Onofrio, just to name a few. In 1990, Scott relocated to Los Angeles where he worked as a sitcom writer for Howie Mandel, Bobcat Goldthwait, and many others. In the mid-90s, Scott worked as a casting director for Danny Goldman Casting until launching his Scott Sedita Acting Studios in 1998. Scott has worked with many of today's top stars, including Holly Taylor, Parker Young, Lana Condor, Michael Weatherly, Brandon Routh, Meagan Tandy, Ross Butler, Joseph David-Jones, Haley Bennett, Charles Melton, Nelly, Josh Duhamel, 50 Cent, Chace Crawford, Paula Abdul, Kevin Alejandro, Sydney Sweeney, and many more. Scott has appeared on numerous TV talk shows. He's been the featured story in such publications as The Hollywood Reporter, Soap Opera Digest, Inside TV, and Backstage, among numerous others. He has also appeared on CNN and programs like On the Red Carpet, Entertainment Tonight, Extra, and Access Hollywood.
