Are you tired of the limitations of glasses or of the daily burden and discomfort of contact lenses? Vision correction surgery can offer you the freedom, the possibilities, the simple joys of a life with crisp, clear vision from the moment you awaken. The authors are experienced surgeons who together have performed more than 80,000 vision corrections surgeries. In See Better Now, Dr. Maloney, Dr. Shamie, and Dr. Hura discuss the latest advances in today’s most popular vision correction surgeries, including LASIK, PRK, implantable contact lenses, and lens exchange. They will help you understand your options and answer questions such as: Am I a good candidate for vision correction surgery? How is each procedure performed? What is the recovery like? Will I see better than 20/20? How do I choose a qualified surgeon?
