Keefe, Brian L.: - The Author received his Indian name Spotted-Tail-Eagle, from his adopted Grandfather Joseph Medicine Crow. The Author has studied the history, cultures and religions of North American Indians for the past sixty years and has researched archival unpublished works in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom and Western Europe. He has been a regular and welcome visitor to a number of North American Tribes over a period of twenty-two years, among whom he has many adopted family members and contacts who have shared the particulars of their oral history.
