In the year 2072, Leon is a gate operator for WormWhole Inc., the global leader in commerce and personal travel using the slipway network, a method of teleportation-like travel employed globally. As Leon prepares for an evening with his brother Dan, his life is turned upside down due to the loss of one of his commuters.
