Samantha Berger is an award-winning author of several children’s books including ABCs of Kindness, Crankenstein, and Rock What Ya Got! Berger, also a twice Emmy-nominated television writer, acted as the Editorial Director and Vice President of Animated Shorts for Nickelodeon for over a decade. She currently writes for Sesame Street in Communities and Sesame Street International, where she helps kids and their families explore difficult subjects while addressing their developmental, physical, and emotional needs. Marina Verola was born in the city of Kamyshin, Russia, where she graduated from art school as an artist-painter. Now living in Moscow with her family, Marina has spent the last three years professionally engaged as an illustrator. Marina loves to illustrate with humor and emotion and says that her daughter is her greatest inspiration and her husband, her greatest supporter. Marina has illustrated four books, including Meowster Chef and Uñas de Mejillón.
